"Termite" was Kenny Weldon's 1st Fighter - 1st National Champ, "Termite"
fought for the World Title in 1980, he lost a 15 round decision to fighter "Soul Mamby" also when Ali fought Larry Holmes at Ceasers Palace .

Also "Termite" was the American that took & Coached the Iraqi Boxer
"Majahali " to the Olympics in 2004.

Mandy Gutierrez "Mandy"
"Mandy" is a 40yrs of age. She has 4 children and one grandson. She
was an aerobics instructor for ten years before she began boxing and becomming a boxer-robics coach at "Kenny Weldon's World Class
Boxing Gym". She will enter the Houston Golden Gloves this year.
In the meantime she currently coaches morning classes from 9am thru
11:30am Monday through Friday.
"Mandy" is a very active working with people who want to get in shape.
Weldon says he has never seen anyone work harder at helping others
get in condition. She currently works with about 20 women and a few
men in the morning sessions Kenny say's , and returns at the 6pm - 9pm
classes to help our other coaches, we are blessed to have her.
"Ernest" is married and has 2 children, He started boxing when he was
13 years old and continued until the age of 24. He made a come back
to boxing to loose weight and roughly "75lbs". He got involved in the
Masters Division and recently started coaching. He was a Masters World
Champion in 2005 and he looks forward to doing it again in 2007.
"Ernest" Loves working out for health reasons and as a coach, first he
wants to be a positive influence and to help kids reach thier goals. In
boxing and hopefully in life. Just as he was influenced when he was
young.
"Sammy" Loves to give back by teaching kids who need help.
"Sammy" also likes to teach boxing because it give him an opportunity
to help kids who would not normally have an oppurunity to succeed.
"Sammy" loves to share all his knowledge with the new generation of
boxers.

"Manuel" was born in Vera Cruz , Mexico and came to Texas when he
was 9 years old and has lived in Galena Park ever since. He graduated
from Galena Park High School in 1989.
"Manuel" Loves the sport of boxing and he enjoys working with kids
that love to box as well.

"Conrad" has known Kenny Weldon for over 20 years and has enjoyed
participating in his boxing program. Boxing and Exercising help to promote
health, flexibility, and strength. "Conrad" has been a boxing fan all his life.
"Conrad" enjoys spending time with his friends, boxers, and fellow coaches.
The young, dedicated boxers work hard to learn this sport and I get a sense of
satisfaction watching their accomplishments.

John has trained boxers at the "Galena Park Boxing Academy" for 10 years and worked with both amateur and professional boxers. "John" has lived in Pasadena and attends service every Sunday at Pasadena First Presbyterian Church.
"John" loves this because; it has been a pleasure to give back to these athletes especially the younger kids.

Kenny Weldon’s boxing program is a non profit 501c3 organization, which is tax Exempt. The program works with 15 area schools and
5 courts along the Houston ship channel, working with underprivileged school age "community service kids" as well as providing a great
